This day marks the National Day of Child Sexual Abuse Prevention and we are hosting three speakers to lead a discussion entitled “Preventing Abuse and Healing the Church: 20 Years After Spotlight.”
Rev. Hans Zollner, S.J., Director, Institute of Anthropology, Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome; Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors; leading expert in the worldwide Church on child abuse prevention.
Dr. Jennifer Wortham, Research Associate in the Human Flourishing Program at Harvard's Institute for Quantitative Social Science; Chair, Global Collaborative for Protection and Healing of Child Dignity.
Mark J. Williams, MSW, clergy abuse survivor; active in ministries focused on healing and prevention of child abuse; special advisor to Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, Archdiocese of Newark.
